The Shedding Blade for dogs has two sides, one with small teeth and one with large which makes the brush perfect for all coat types. The smaller teeth are perfect for use on shorter coats and the larger teeth are ideal for longer coats. The Ancol Blade can be used, both when closed and open, the closed blade is best for smaller areas on your dog’s body and the open blade can tackle the larger areas, such as down your dog’s back.
To use the blade, carefully comb your dog’s coat in the direction of the fur growth. The teeth of the blade will pull away loose hair in your dog’s coat. The blade opens easily by pulling both sides of the handle in opposite directions. Use the tool when closed for small dogs or smaller areas on your dog’s body or opened for any larger areas. Begin gently and only increase pressure if your dog enjoys the grooming process. Always end your grooming session if your dog becomes upset or stressed.
