Ease of care
Easy. They live well in an aquarium as they clean algae and feed on pest/other snails.
Diet
They are carnivores. They will wait for food to drop to the bottom of the tank mainly, however, they do eat other snails.
Compatibility
Best kept in a community tank with small or medium sized fish. Some fish may try to eat the snails to take caution. Take care when housing with shrimp, there have been reports of assassins snails eating shrimp fry, though this is unlikely to be in any great number. Breeding
Moderate to prolific. They are egg layers.
Life span
They can live to anything from 1-3 years in perfect conditions.
