Young male dogs may typically be missing one or both testicles. Many people try massaging to help bring them down but we’re not sure this is a good idea as your dog may try to hide them from you! Your vet may advise early castration for dogs suffering with this issue as if left within the groin it is believed to cause cancer. In the showring it is a requirement for a male dog to have both testicles descended.
