The Bubble Magus G series in-sump Protein Skimmers have an innovative feature that other skimmers don’t have- gear wheels! Instead of the standard PVC pipe outlet, Bubble Magus uses acrylic gearwheels as gates for outgoing water. Turning these gearwheels will increase of decrease water flow allowing you to control your skimmer with much ease.
This Bubble Magus G5 Protein Skimmer features a 5-inch wide body and is recommended for tanks up to 500L. This is one of the most powerful filtration devices for saltwater tanks on the market today. Like most innovative skimmers, it has a conical body that greatly decreases turbulence and allows for more contact time. It also comes with a large collection cup with a lid nipple which ensures skimmate is disperse into the collection cup and not into the water column.
