Sagittaria Sagittifolia, or Arrowhead, has long arrow-shaped leaves and white flowers with dark purple almost black centres. The tubers are reported to be edible but we would not advise this. Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy.
